Who We Are

Specialist Nursing Training was founded by Registered Nurses Caroline and Kim, who have been colleagues and friends for the past 19 years. They established Specialist Nursing to meet the growing demand for seamless, high-quality support delivered by exceptionally trained and well-supported professionals. 12 months on, and their vision has driven consistent growth, with a long waiting list reflecting the trust and demand for their services.

KIM CAMILLE

CEO of SN Training (Director of SN Services)

  • About Kim

    Qualified RN, BSC, extensive clinical and teaching experience in varying roles. Kim possesses expertise in adult and paediatric nursing, with a wealth of experience in paediatric critical care. Additionally, Kim has held numerous roles in staff development and education. Kim led our successful NDIS audit in 2023 for SN Services and has been in charge of sustaining SN Services' continuous improvement, incident management, performance management, and handling staff and customer concerns.

CAROLINE

Director of SN Training

  • About Caroline

    Caroline is an RN qualified in both adult and children’s nursing with extensive experience in critical and complex care.


    Caroline has held numerous clinical, teaching and senior management roles in both Australia and the UK.


    Caroline is mum to a grownup son, she is very active, outgoing and energetic. She loves coastal walks, the beach and travelling.

Laura Irvin 

RTO Manager and Trainer and Assessor 

  • About Laura

    Laura holds a Bachelor’s degree in Paediatric Nursing and the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. She possesses a deep understanding of the importance of providing immediate care in emergency situations. As a certified Trainer and Assessor, Laura has gained experience in training CPR, Manual Handling, and Advanced Life Support, further broadening her expertise.


    Laura currently holds the position of Education Manager for SN Services and RTO Manager for SN Training. In these roles, she leads a dedicated team of clinical educators and RTO trainers, providing up-to-date, evidence-based training in areas such as Basic Life Support, Automated External Defibrillator use, and oxygen therapy. One of Laura’s primary passions is teaching tracheostomy and ventilation management.


    Laura is committed to raising standards in the NDIS industry for clients with complex care needs. She focuses on developing and ensuring compliance with critical pathways, processes, forms, and policies in complex care settings. Additionally, she plays a key role in the negotiation and integration of SN Services' new Learning Management System (LMS).

Susie Parkinson

Trainer and Assessor 

  • About Susie

    Susie is a dedicated trainer and assessor committed to making a significant impact in the field of healthcare. With seven years of invaluable nursing experience, primarily in paediatric care, Susie brings a deep understanding of the intricate challenges and responsibilities involved in caring for our most complex clients.


    As a qualified trainer and assessor Susie plays a pivotal role in equipping people with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional care to in the RTO industry and the NDIS Industry. Susie leads face-to-face training sessions, provides comprehensive first aid training, covering essential topics such as BLS (Basic Life Support) with AED (Automated External Defibrillator) use, Wound Management, Infection Control, Anaphylaxis, and more.


    Susie’s academic background includes a degree in education, which has significantly influenced her approach to teaching and mentoring. Susie firmly believes that education is about sharing knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Olivia Camille

RTO Administration Assistant  

  • About Olivia

    Olivia is an experienced and multi-skilled administrator with proven initiative and strong customer service skills. She is familiar with undertaking a range of office administrative tasks necessary for an RTO to function effectively. She has a wealth of knowledge about establishing and maintaining accurate student records and ensuring all necessary RTO documentation is collected and filed appropriately.

Maggie Bulnes

Clinical Educator 

  • About Maggie

    Maggie has worked as a RN for 20 years, initially in private/tertiary hospitals with adults in surgical wards, post anaesthetic, rehabilitation, and operating theatres. She primarily worked as a community RN for 14 years with both adult and paediatric clients with complex care needs. 


    Maggie has worked as a Clinical Educator for 7 years, which has given her a great balance of providing clinical support to clients and providing training for our staff.


    In her spare time, she likes to sleep (when she gets half a chance!), travelling, catching up with loved ones and outdoor walks.
